Case filed After School Ignores Repeated Warnings Before Alleged Brutal Assault

Tulsa, OK — In yet another shocking example of systemic school negligence, Smolen Law is representing a young girl who was allegedly attacked on school grounds after administrators failed to act on multiple warnings. The student and her family had reported escalating tensions, even predicting the attack. The administration acknowledged the threat in writing but failed to send the warning email meant to protect her.

“This isn’t just a lapse in judgment,” said Don Smolen, civil rights attorney and founder of The Alpha Firm. “This is a preventable tragedy. One that was predicted, documented, and ignored.”

The incident, captured on video now in the possession of Smolen Law, shows the victim allegedly being violently assaulted inside a school room. This occurred after the student had directly warned school officials that someone was planning to “get her ass kicked.” The school drafted an internal note to “keep the students apart” and “watch the situation,” but it was never sent. As a result, the student was allegedly attacked, forced to transfer schools, and now lives in fear.

The Alpha Firm Demands Action:

• Cameras in every hallway and classroom. If schools won’t protect our kids, we’ll ensure there’s evidence when they fail.
• Accountability for bomb threats and violence. Schools must implement real protocols, not just “thoughts and prayers.”
• Transparency for parents. Every ignored warning, every delayed email, and every excuse must be exposed.

“We will not allow another child to be sacrificed to bureaucracy,” Smolen said. “We intend to uncover exactly who failed this student, and we will use every legal avenue to hold them accountable.”

What’s Next?
Smolen Law is preparing civil action and exploring federal civil rights violations. We are also pushing for legislative efforts to make camera installation in public schools mandatory and tighten enforcement of threat response protocols.
