We’re asked from a young age what we want to be/do when we grow up. Are you following your passions?
Has life taken a completely different turn than initially planned? Most importantly, are you happy?
Ell graduated high school in 2006, terrified of college, she began working in retail establishments.
She sold anything from cigars, vacuums, lingerie and stickers. Life changed rapidly for Ell over the years, specifically in 2017.
Before she could think twice, she adventured 1,500 miles away from home; leaving everyone and everything behind.
For the next year and a half life was far from easy, but it was a journey she’ll never take for granted.
Ell ended up moving back home with a new perspective, new goals and dreams.
She decided to start college for the first time and was ecstatic when offered a position at a local law firm.
For the first time, Ell feels her dreams are becoming reality; a passion has ignited within her.
I tell that story because too many people feel stuck, burnt out, and stressed over a job that gives them no joy.
They feel their dreams will never become reality and though unhappy, they continue where they are.
What are you waiting for?
You are never too young or old to follow your dreams.
A long the way, the goals and dreams you planned for yourself could very well shift down a path you didn’t know existed.
It’s never too late to choose happiness, joyful success, and a life of genuine fulfillment.
Who cares that you’re in your 40’s and want to go back to school – go! You’re 20 and have the drive and motivation to be an entrepreneur – do it! Maybe you want to manage a retail store, bake cakes or be a security guard – good for you! If being a stay-at-home mom (or dad) is your dream – fantastic! Make your dreams a reality, because as “too late” as you think it may be… it’s not!
